This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights and our process for returns, refunds, cancellations, and faulty items. It complies with UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
1. Right to Cancel (Cooling-off Period)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods.
- To cancel: Email us at sales@getmrg.co.uk within 14 days of receipt, stating your order number and intention to cancel. You do not need to give a reason.
- Return the items unused, in their original packaging, with all seals intact (where possible), and with proof of purchase.
- Return goods within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.
- We will refund the full purchase price (excluding original delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned items.
Exceptions to the right to cancel:
- Hygiene-sealed products (e.g., opened beard oils or butters) cannot be returned under the cooling-off period once the seal is broken, unless the product is faulty or defective.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your product arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 30 days of receipt.
- Email sales@getmrg.co.uk with your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description.
- We will offer one of the following (at our discretion and in line with your statutory rights):
- Full refund (including postage costs for return).
- Replacement product.
- Repair (if applicable and feasible).
- We will cover return postage costs for faulty/damaged items.
3. Non-Faulty Returns (Outside Cooling-off Period)
We do not accept returns for change of mind or non-faulty items after the 14-day cooling-off period ends, except in exceptional circumstances (decided at our discretion).
4. How to Return Items
- Pack items securely in their original packaging (if possible).
- Include your order number and a note explaining the return reason.
- We recommend using a tracked/signed-for service (proof of postage is your responsibility until we receive the items).
- Refunds (where applicable) will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods.
5. Refunds
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe.
- Delivery costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (faulty/incorrect item).
- If you paid by gift card or promotion, we may issue a store credit or replacement at our discretion.
6. Important Notes
- Products must be returned unused, with seals intact (where applicable), and in resaleable condition for non-faulty returns.
- We reserve the right to refuse refunds if items are damaged due to customer misuse or returned in an unsaleable condition.
- International returns: You are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs duties. Refunds exclude original international delivery fees.
